JSON Suit/privacy
Local JSON Processing

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026. At JSON Suit, we build developer tools that respect your privacy by default. Your data is your own.

Zero Server Uploads

All JSON formatting, validation, repair, and difference-computing is processed right inside your browser via local Web Workers.

No Database Storage

We have no backends or databases storing your structural payloads. When you close or refresh the tab, your active workspace content is deleted.

No Code Telemetry

While we use standard analytics and ads cookies to support our operations, your JSON content is completely private and is never analyzed or sent.

1. Data Collection and Usage

JSON Suit is designed to operate as a serverless, browser-side utility workspace. We do not require account registration, and we do not collect any personal identifier information.

JSON workspace content is processed locally in your browser. JSON Suit does not intentionally transmit JSON input or file content to JSON Suit backend services.

2. Browser Technologies Used

To deliver a high-performance desktop experience, we leverage modern standard browser technologies:

  • Web Workers: Diff and validation operations are run on secondary background browser threads to guarantee the main layout thread remains fully responsive.
  • Local Storage (Optional): Your visual theme preference (light/dark mode) is persisted locally in your browser's localStorage for convenience across visits. No JSON content, input history, or editor preferences are saved or transmitted.

3. Third-Party Services and Cookie Policies

To support our free operations and continuously improve our user experience, we use standard, trusted third-party web services that set cookies and collect technical data:

  • Google Analytics (gtag.js): We use Google Analytics to collect anonymous, aggregated traffic insights. This includes metrics like page views, visitor counts, general geolocation (country-level), and device details. JSON Suit does not intentionally include JSON workspace content in Google Analytics events or analytics payloads.
  • Google AdSense: We display standard web advertisements powered by Google AdSense. Google AdSense utilizes advertising cookies (including the DoubleClick DART cookie) to serve relevant interest-based ads based on your visits to JSON Suit and other websites on the internet. You can manage or disable personalized advertising anytime via Google Ads Settings.
  • CDN Assets: Some components (like Monaco Editor and Lucide icons) are loaded via high-performance Content Delivery Networks (CDNs) which standardly log request headers (IP address, user-agent) to safely route assets.

Crucial Security Assurance: JSON Suit does not intentionally send JSON workspace content to Google Analytics, Google AdSense, or JSON Suit backend services. JSON processing is implemented locally in the browser using client-side application logic and Web Workers.

4. Policy Updates

We may modify this policy as browser features evolve. Because we do not store emails or accounts, any updates will be posted directly to this workspace page. Your continued use of the workspace constitutes your acceptance of our local-first privacy principles.
